Lisa Pasold: poetry

"Weave is quite simply a masterpiece: there is more in these 80-odd pages than in most novels." - Stephen Osborne in Geist magazine.

WEAVE is my first book, a biography-style collection of poetry that came out in 2004 from Frontenac House. The book was nominated for an Alberta Book Prize. (I didn't win, but I was really excited to be in the running!)

You can order the book from Indigo/Chapters, but you can also order the book directly from me...and I'll sign & dedicate the copy for you. See the "buy books" section for more info.

"Pasold offers one heck of a wild read." - Ronnie R. Brown in Canadian Bookseller

A BAD YEAR FOR JOURNALISTS is a collection of long poems inspired by friends' stories of working "in the field". The book came out in 2006 from Frontenac House & was nominated for an Alberta Book Award.
Check out the "buy books" page if you'd like a copy--the book is available on Chapters/Indigo and also available directly from me.
